EAGLE LAKE, Maine – Ejnar C. Adamson, 79, passed away on May 15, 2018, in Auburndale, Florida. He was born in New Sweden on August 22, 1938, the son of the late Walter and Viola (Johnson) Adamson.
Mr. Adamson attended the New Sweden schools and married Diana DeMerchant on November 26, 1966. He worked on the family farm until he went to work as a mechanic for the Maine Department of Transportation, retiring after 29 years of service. Mr. Adamson was a member Trinity Lutheran Church of Stockholm as well as the Nordic Lakers Snowmobile Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Diana, are his sister, Angela Adamson of Auburndale, Florida, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. from the West Jemptland Cemetery in New Sweden with Rev. Ward Ketch officiating. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir, Street, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
