PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — On Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, New Ventures Maine will offer Holiday Budgeting, a free two-hour class to help participants stretch their money, pay bills and reduce debt in preparation for the holiday season.

Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau, trainer for the class, said, “Managing your money over the holidays can be stressful. This class will help you set financial priorities and take charge of developing a reasonable budget plan for your holiday spending.”

The class is open to women, men and couples of all ages and incomes. Pre-registration is required, and there is no fee for the training.

For more information or to register for the class, contact Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau at New Ventures Maine at 768-9635 or senechal@maine.edu.

Accommodations to individuals with disabilities are available upon request; some assistance with transportation and childcare costs is also available, so don’t let cost be a barrier to attending the class, Senechal said.
