HODGDON, Maine — The start of the new school year may not be for another month, but student athletes playing soccer in the fall will soon be hitting the field.
Wayne Quint, athletic director for SAD 70, has announced tryouts and practices for middle and high school students. Starting Wednesday, Aug. 7, varsity boys soccer will begin practices at 6 p.m., while the varsity girls take the field Monday, Aug. 12 at 8:30 a.m.
Middle school girls soccer practice will be held Monday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m., while the boys take the field at 2:30 p.m.
