It was a nice day to shoot the breeze at Maine Veterans' Home in Caribou, as veteran Joe Bouchard, left, and Christine Nickerson, right, vice president and senior relationship manager for Bangor Savings Bank in Houlton, discovered. Nickerson stopped by to present the veterans with a bench to enjoy while outside. Bouchard accepted the gift on behalf of the home, and the two sat and chatted awhile about banking.
