STACYVILLE, Maine — The Katahdin boys basketball team opened its season with an impressive 62-10 victory over Ashland Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Katahdin was led by sophomore Grady Ritchie, who poured in 31 points, while senior Kaden McNally chipped in with eight points.
For Ashland, who was also playing in its first game of the year, Gabe Page led the way with six of his team’s 10 points.
In the girls game played Monday, Jan. 18, in Ashland, the Cougars were victorious 40-13. Individual results were not reported.
