CARIBOU, Maine — Jennifer Elizabeth Laney of Augusta graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in May summa cum laude with a Ph.D. in higher education.
Dr. Laney is employed at York County College as associate dean of student services.
She is the daughter of the former Deidre Cyr of Caribou and the granddaughter of Donna Cyr Pelletier and the late Donald H. Cyr, also of Caribou.
She will reside in the York County area.
