PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Thompson Financial Group is proud to announce three of their employees have recently completed their degrees at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and will remain in the area as employees of TFG, working out of the Presque Isle office.

Molly Kingsbury is a 2019 graduate of Presque Isle High School. She has been employed at Thompson Financial Group since July of that same year. While at TFG, Molly has maintained Dean’s List status, coached and spent time traveling. In addition to working at TFG, Molly is excited to be the Central Aroostook High School Girls Soccer Coach.  She has earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and will remain a valued part of the payroll team as a payroll specialist. Molly was born and raised in Aroostook County and she feels this has taught her some of the greatest lessons and skills in her life. She shares she’s “extremely excited and proud to say I can now give back to the community that has built me.”

Ashley Violette is a 2019 graduate of Caribou High School and has earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting.  She joined the TFG team in February of 2021 as a Customer Services Representative. Ashley has been working closely with the investment team at TFG, opening new accounts and servicing existing clients, all while attending classes and maintaining Dean’s List status. She is staying in the area because being with family is really important to her. She says, “the people at Thompson Financial Group have become a wonderful addition to my family; I am truly blessed to work here.” Ashley hopes to continue to grow with TFG and to help the community in whatever way she can.

Taylor Billings is the most recent hire at Thompson Financial Group! Taylor is a 2018 graduate of Presque Isle High School and has graduated with a degree in Social Work. Previous to working at TFG, Taylor was employed at a local bank providing her an opportunity in the financial world that she enjoyed. This experience encouraged her to accept a permanent position at Thompson Financial Group as a Customer Services Representative working as part of the Operations Team. Taylor is a value part of the operations team opening new accounts and servicing existing clients.

Approximately 81 percent of TFG’s full-time employees have earned their undergraduate degrees here in the county, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle or Northern Maine Community College.

Bryan Thompson, owner and CEO of Thompson Financial Group, is appreciative of the opportunities provided to local graduates that allow them to pursue quality, higher education in the region, as well as to the team members who choose to stay local and continue to call The County home. “Our TFG team and our community benefit from their commitment to the region,” says Thompson.

While TFG is currently fully staffed, they are always growing and expanding services. “We are always looking for the next team member, and what they can bring to the agency,” says Thompson.
