Wednesday, June 8

CARIBOU: Miss Erin’s Picture Book Story Time, 1 p.m. on Caribou Public Library’s Facebook/YouTube page.

FORT FAIRFIELD: The regular Senior Commodity Food Program distribution takes place from 2-2:30 p.m. at the St. Dennis Catholic Church parking lot at 143 Main Street. To enroll in this  program, please contact the Aroostook Agency on Aging at 764-3396/1-800-439-1789.

HOULTON: Putnam House Senior Center, open noon to 5 p.m.

HOULTON: Narcotics Anonymous meeting, 7 p.m. at Aroostook Recovery Center of Hope, 59 Main St.

MARS HILL: The regular Senior Commodity Food Program distribution takes place from 12:30 to  1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Mars Hill Community Center at 10 ACI Street. To enroll in this  program, please contact the Aroostook Agency on Aging at 764-3396/1-800-439-1789. 

ONLINE: Gathering Place, sponsored by Aroostook Agency on Aging, 10-11 a.m. Safe virtual space for those with chronic memory loss or health conditions to engage in fun activities. FMI: 764-3396 or 1-800-439-1789 or email info@aroostookaging.org.

PRESQUE ISLE: A town hall event will take place at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center from 6:30-8:30 p.m. All Aroostook County voters are encouraged to attend to meet candidates that will be on primary ballots on June 14 and to express their opinions on important issues facing America, Maine and Aroostook.
