ST. AGATHA, Maine – It was time to pass on the Most Senior Citizen Certificate and the Ste-Agathe Historical Society recently awarded the certificate to Bertille Chamberland who is 97 years old. Her next birthday is in January and Mrs. Bert still lives in her apartment in the local housing, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing games and working with her special crafts.

Many of her family members joined some Ste-Agathe Historical Society Board members, Terry Ouellette, Carole Plourde, Sandra San Antonio, Harold Chamberland, Gary Boucher and special guests Francoise Plourde, Rita Chamberland and Linda Bouchard to honor Mrs. Bert on this special day. A beautifully decorated cake, made by Nancy Michaud, was served along with special treats made possible by her family.
