The annual Mapleton Daze Spring Craft Fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at Mapleton Elementary School.

There are eight vendor spaces available. If you are a vendor and would be interested in an space approximately 10 feet by 10 feet for a fee of $40, then send a personal message through Facebook to Laurie Boucher to reserve one of them.

Do not respond to anyone else, as there are lots of scammers out there trying to sell these vendor slots. Mapleton Daze has experienced vendors showing up at craft fairs expecting a sales space, only to learn that they have been scammed by someone who pretends to represent the event but in fact is not associated with the sponsoring organization.

Rosie Otalora, owner of Massage by RosieO, stands at her booth at last year’s Mapleton Daze Spring Craft Fair. Otalora has been an annual participant in the event. This year’s fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 19.

Mapleton Daze officials will confirm with each vendor and ask for the rental fee a few weeks before the event.  Each vendor will receive a private message with all of the information on when setup is and how to pay.  That message will come from Laurie Boucher.  Again, only message Laurie Boucher through Facebook.

Mapleton, Castle Hill and Chapman shoppers are invited to the fair. There will be lots of local items available. Come and browse the cafeteria, gym and hallways. They will be filled with talented local people. It’s a great time to get your gifts and other items just in time for Easter, spring and Mother’s Day.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for pictures with the little ones.

Please consider bringing some school supplies so we can donate these items to the Mapleton school. Pens, paper, crayons, folders and so forth are all greatly appreciated.
