Wednesday-Friday
Following some morning fog about the Valley this morning, high pressure builds down from Québec with mostly sunny skies, mild temperatures, and light winds today. Tonight, clouds begin to increase as an area of low pressure tracks towards the St. John Valley from the Great Lakes region.
Low pressure approaches from the west Thursday, with showers overspreading the area in the afternoon with partly sunny skies in the morning becoming overcast by evening. Rainfall amounts in the 1/10 to 1/4-inch range are expected by Thursday evening. Rain is likely overnight into early Friday morning as the low pressure area moves across Maine. Precipitation totals in the 1/4 to 1/2-inch range are possible.
Rain tapers to showers Friday morning, which linger into the afternoon with a few lingering showers possible Friday night as the low departs. Clouds diminish Friday with mostly clear skies overspreading the Valley as high pressure builds into the region.
Saturday-Tuesday
Mostly sunny skies build across the region Saturday with increasing clouds and a chance of showers late Saturday night as an upper trough slides by to the north. A chance of scattered showers is expected Sunday with showers becoming isolated Sunday night before ending early Monday.
High pressure returns Monday with mostly sunny skies followed by mostly clear skies Monday night. Mostly sunny conditions continue Tuesday with high pressure building into the area from the northwest with mostly clear skies over the Valley Tuesday night.
