Wednesday-Friday

Mostly cloudy skies are expected today with gusty northwest winds across the region and highs topping out in the upper 40s thanks to cold air aloft. Tonight, a chance of showers overnight with snow mixing in early Thursday. Lows fall into the mid-30s with northwest wind gusting 20-25 mph at times.

Thursday, the upper low continues to move southeast with rain/snow showers in the morning changing to all rain before tapering to rain showers Thursday evening. High pressure moves across the region Saturday into Sunday then moves away Monday. Temperatures climb into the upper 50s Saturday and low 60s Sunday with overnight lows in the mid-30s Saturday night and low 40s Sunday night.

A low pressure system from the west is expected to move in early next week with rain starting Monday morning; however, the exact timing and path of the system are still uncertain.
