MADAWASKA, Maine —Dianiliz (Nini) Conde-Silva of Madawaska, the daughter of Luz Silva, is a senior at Madawaska Middle/High School and is selected to receive the 2026 Maine Principal’s Award, Principal Wayne Anderson announced. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

“Throughout her years at Madawaska Middle/High School, Nini has held high academic standards for herself, has an exceptional work ethic, is an accomplished athlete and exemplifies dedication in all she does,” stated Anderson. “Her hunger for learning and growth, both in and out of the classroom is extraordinary. Nini’s commitment to local Special Olympics embodies her passion for community service — giving of herself to those with special needs. Nini clearly represents the social and academic values of our school; she is a remarkable young lady. Nini very much earned and deserves this recognition. We are proud to have Nini awarded this honor and have her recognized as the 2026 MPA Principal’s Award Recipient for Madawaska Middle/High School.”
