Last week, the Mapleton Daze Trash 2 Treasure Sale was announced. This week the Mapleton Daze Committee has decided to expand the Trash 2 Treasure Sale to their Trash 2 Treasure Spring Craft.
Over the past few years, Mapleton Daze has hosted their April Spring Craft and Vendor Fair at the Mapleton Elementary School. This year the committee decided to host their new Trash 2 Treasure Sale, but over the past two weeks they decided to blend their new sale with their original Spring Craft Fair. The result is the Mapleton Daze Trash 2 Treasure and Spring Craft Fair.

If you would like to participate in the added Spring Craft Fair, Mapleton Daze says there will be booths that are no cost, 10 x 10 spaces available. They are simply asking in lieu of a charge for the a space, that the crafter donate an item that they can use for their November online auction. To reserve a booth use this link (https://forms.gle/yLBnsLR8KryGRpoL9) to reserve a booth.
Crafters will need to bring your own tables and chairs. If you have already submitted your information within the last month – you do not need to resubmit. Spots are limited. If you are interested, you will need to reserve your spots as soon as possible before they are gone.
Again Mapleton Daze is excited to announce their 1st Annual Mapleton Daze Trash 2 Treasure Sale now with a Spring Craft Sale. Scheduled for Saturday, April 4th and starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. The location of the sale will be at Mapleton Elementary School. Folks will be present to sell their goodies and unneeded items. This indoor yard sale will also have some crafters and small businesses for shoppers to explore and find that new treasure.
Additionally, the Mapleton Daze Committee will also be hosting the Easter Bunny for pictures, selling food, providing Scratch Bonanza tickets, and so much more. For ongoing information regarding this event, keep checking the Mapleton Daze Facebook page to see new things being added to the sale. Also spread the word about the sale by telling your friends and family about the sale and inviting them to attend with you.
Tea party
A tea party was held at the residence of Sandra L. McHatten, hosted by her granddaughter, Gloria Dionne, and herself.
The event was in memory of Pauline Dionne’s birthday on Feb. 25. Pauline would have been 55, but she died Nov. 10, 2025, after a 17-year battle with brain cancer.
Guests were Heidi Campbell, Judy Baressi, Debbie Chavez, Gail Woodman, Brenda Wentworth and Sandie J. McHatten. All enjoyed the afternoon.

The Mapleton Daze committee held a recruiting meeting last Sunday at the Mapleton Lions Hall in an effort to recruit volunteers for the coming Mapleton Daze Events with particular emphasis on Mapleton Daze week in June.
