Local students honored for academic achievements

    Osgood recognized
The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Michelle A. Osgood from Easton, has been recognized for academic achievement as a United States National Honor Student Award winner.
    Osgood, who attends Easton Jr/Sr High School, will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s Official Yearbook which is published nationally. “Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in American’s history. Certainly, United States Achievement Academy winners should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement,” said Dr. George Stevens, Founder of the United States Achievement Academy. The USAA National Honor Student Awards provide honor students with many benefits and services and is a great tribute to a student’s dedication, talent, and ability. Osgood is the daughter of Tom and Ann Osgood of Easton. The grandparents are Floyd and Reta Flewelling of Easton and Fred and the late Mary Ann Osgood of Easton.
Beaulier recognized
The United States Achievement Academy announced today that Stacey Beaulier from Ashland, Me has been named a United States National Collegiate Award winner in medical office administration.
This award is prestigious honor very few students can ever hope to attain. In fact, the Academy recognizes fewer than 10 percent of all American college students. Beaulier, who attends Northern Maine Community College, was nominated for this nation award by Paula York and Ann Osgood, instructors at the college. Beaulier will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s Official Collegiate yearbook, which is published nationally.

Beaulier is the daughter of Dennis and Ardis Beaulieu from Ashland. The grandparents are Wilfred and Pauline Beaulieu, of Mapleton and Irving and Roberta Grauel of Oswatomie Kan.
Egan graduates
BIDDEFORD – Brandy M. Egan, daughter of Richard and Caderine Egan of Old Orchard Beach and Fort Fairfield was awarded the degree of bachelors of science in business administration at the University of New England’s College of Arts and Sciences and College of Health Professions Commencement on Saturday, may 12, at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland.
The University awarded over 700 associates, bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in health sciences, natural sciences, social sciences, human services, education, management and the liberal arts.
Following graduation, Egan plans to attend graduate school to attain a masters degree in business administration.
