     BRIDGEWATER – Doris M. Hallett McKenzie, 79, passed away Monday evening, June 30, 2014, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Bridgewater on August 30, 1934, the daughter of Harold and Frances (Barker) Delong.

    Doris worked at McCain Foods, the Mars Hill Nursing Home and did home care. She was always available to drive someone to an appointment. She loved music and watching Westerns on TV. Doris was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Bridgewater.
    She is survived by two sons, Stewart Hallett and his wife, Betsy of Mars Hill, and Troy Hallett of Bridgewater; three daughters, Faith Ann Anderson of Bridgewater, Arlene Buck of Fort Fairfield, and Karen Endy and her husband, Wallace of Bridgewater; a brother, Wayne Delong and his wife, Loretta of Bridgewater; two sisters, Loretta Hutchins and her husband, Ed of Arkansas, and Connie Delong of Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    She was predeceased by two husbands, Ashley Hallett and Leroy McKenzie; and a son, Michael Hallett.
    Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Pentecostal Church of Bridgewater with Rev. Frank Randall officiating. Relatives and friends called 12:30 until time of service at the church. Interment was in Smith Cemetery, Bridgewater. Online condolences maybe expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
