FORT KENT, Maine — The Fort Kent girls soccer team hosted Penobscot Valley High School of Howland on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Penobscot Valley took the early lead, with a goal off of a corner by Lila Cummings. Fort Kent answered with a goal by Reese Doucette. Madeleine Martin added a first half goal off of a penalty kick after she was taken out in the box.
In the second half Penobscot Valley’s Rylee Moulton had a goal, bringing the score to 2-2. But Doucette netted one for Fort Kent, which led to the Warriors taking the victory with a final score of 3-2.
