Searles wins junior kart race at Spud
CARIBOU, Maine — Race results from kart races held Friday at Spud Speedway are as follows:
Spud Speedway Kids karts: first, Parker Bosse, Limestone; second, Kayden Haines,Caribou; and third, Avery Lloyd, New Denmark, New Brunswick.
Haney Building Specialties Junior Champ Karts first, Bryan Searles, Presque Isle; and second, Noah Coventry, Van Buren.
Aroostook Federal Savings and Loan Senior Champ Karts: first, Damian Theriault, Caribou; second, Jason Theriault, Caribou; third, Tom Hale, Westmanland; and fourth, Matt Lloyd, New Denmark, New Brunswick.
The next races are Friday at 6:30 pm. Admission to the grandstands is free and the cost is $10 for the pit area. Several door prizes will be given away at Friday’s races.
