McQuarrie, Shirley P., 69, July 29, 2008.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the Hodgdon Cemetery.
    Cary Plantation – Shirley P. McQuarrie, 69, died July 29, 2008, at a local hospital. She was born June 5, 1939, at Harrison, the daughter of Shirley and Hildred (Estabrook) Winslow.
    Shirley worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at Gardiner Health Care Facility for 20 years. She was the secretary for the Cary and Aroostook Penobscot Granges and a member of the Maine State Grange.
    Shirley is survived by her son, Ed McQuarrie, Jr. of Cary; five daughters, Sherry Hall and her husband Gordon of Old Orchard, Darlene Johnson and her husband Ted of Oconomowoc, WI, Tammy Gray and her husband Spencer of Sedwick, Carlene McQuarrie of Cary, Heidi Bennett and her husband Randy of AZ; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Winslow and his wife Sonya of Hodgdon, Dana Winslow and his wife Maryann of Veasie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister and a brother.
    Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home Friday 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were held Saturday 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Tuttle as officiate.
