The sixth annual Moosestompers Ice Fishing Derby drew a field of 170 participants in February. The two-day event, according to organizer David Rairdon had an excellent turnout, with $220 raised on the ice auger.
The winner of the eight-inch auger was Joe Finnemore.
Adult winners of the annual ice fishing derby were: Largest togue, Allan Boutilier; largest brown trout, Dana Duff; largest brook trout, Halsey Knapp and largest pickerel, Robbie Brewer.
Youth winners were: largest togue, Gage Finnemore; largest brown trout, Lucas Duff; largest brook trout, Matthew Furrow and largest pickerel, Aiden Zugelder.
The $500 prize winner was David Carmichael and the Hind Hunt went to Rich Sherwood.
Door prize winners included: Hannah Mooers, Kathy Bartley, Jug Benn, Levi Cyr, Furrow, Kevin Carpenter, Andrea Burke, Wayne McGary, Carmichael, Justin Faulkner, Evan McGary, Jon Emack, Dan Jewell, Kyle Stevens, Thom Willard and Dave Johnston.
