Stephen and Katherine Waugh, of Presque Isle, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Christopher, to Jennifer Lynn Wood, both of Whispering Pines, NC. 
Jennifer is the daughter of Martin and Deborah Wood, also of Whispering Pines. She graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2004 with a BS degree in drama, TV and film and is currently employed by the Harnett County Schools in Lillington, NC.
Christopher is a 1998 graduate of Presque Isle High School and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle and Oral Roberts University. He is currently serving in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. He has just returned from his second tour in Iraq.
An August 2, 2008, wedding is planned in North Carolina.
