HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Shire golf team began its season Sept. 1, 2015 in fine fashion, picking up a 152-191 victory over Caribou at the Houlton Country Club.
Shires Ryan Dee and Drew Marino were the co-medalists on the day, as both golfers shot 34.
Individual scores for Houlton were: Dee, 34; Marino, 34; Parker Brewer, 41; Wyatt Harvey, 43; Aaron Sewell, 46; Bill Phillips, 49; Duncan McCormack, 49; Nick Brewer, 54; Duncan Bradshaw, 60; and Devin Ivey, 62.
Individual scorers for Caribou (0-1) were: Donavan Savage, 43; T. Dombronoski, 44; R. Sheldon, 51; J. Bevins, 53; G. Rand, 54; B. Griffeth, 54; M. Rosado, 60; S. Curtis, 72; and M. Kasman 72.
