Did you know that over six million animals are surrendered to animal shelters every year in the United States and many never find loving homes? These include dog, cats, hamsters, birds, rabbits and ferrets. They all need us as much as we need them.

I write today as one of the over 500 businesses, organizations and towns that support the Maine Trails Bond. The $30 million investment from the bond would help with the maintenance, design and development of motorized and non-motorized trails.
