Birthday planning today

To the editor:
    The Caribou Sesquicentennial committee was formed last year, and since then we have been planning for our 150th anniversary celebration for 2009.  We would like to invite you to our next meeting, which will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the Caribou Chamber of Commerce and Industry offices (in the Downtown Mall).
    We’d like to have as many suggestions and as much input of residents of Caribou (as well as surrounding towns) as possible. There will be refreshments.
    If you’re interested in the history of Caribou or in participating in any events, we hope to see you there!
