Hall, Thomas R., Sr., 69, May 1, 2008.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the Estabrook Cemetery, Amity.
    AMITY- Thomas Hall, 69, died May 1, 2008, at his home in Amity. He was born Nov. 20, 1938, in Weston, Me. the son of Ruby (Hall) Willette and step-father Cleve Hall.
    Tom had many types of jobs during his lifetime. He was a woods worker, carpenter, Amity’s #1 trash man, and his most loved job was being the Mayor of Amity (self-appointed). He attended the Amity Baptist Church.
    He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jeannie (Goodall) Hall of Amity; three children, Thomas Hall, Jr. of Rochester, NH, Toby Ray Hall and wife Brenda of Bridgewater, and Robin Jean Basham and husband Jim of Rochester, NH; four grandchildren, Adam Hall and his fiancé Melissa, Jennifer Hall, Kerrie Hasty and Lukas Hasty; two brothers, William and his wife Janice, and Donald and his wife Marie; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Also best friends, all the Ledger family of Amity; John and Ann Walsh; and Allen and Ida Glidden from Rochester, NH.
    The services were at Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton. Reg Corey, his pastor and dear friend, officiated at the funeral. Interment was in Estabrook Cemetery, Amity.
