PRESQUE ISLE – For the second year in a row, Momentum Aroostook is hosting the holiday event of the season and the region’s young adults are invited to attend.
Momentum’s Merry Mixer will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Northeastland Hotel. The event will include opportunities for networking and socializing, door prizes and dancing starting at 9 p.m.
Appetizers will be provided and there will be a cash bar.
The event is Momentum Aroostook’s biggest social event of the year.
Momentum Chair Nathan Berry said that with membership pushing 150, board members wanted to offer a night of fellowship and fun for members.
“If you’re a young professional, come for the social networking. If you’re a young couple in the area that needs a date night away from the kids, come for the entertainment,” Berry said. “And if you’re a young person looking for something fun to kick off your weekend, plan to attend. We promise you’ll have a good time.”
Momentum Aroostook is a group of highly-motivated Aroostook County young people between the ages of 20 and 40, connecting for career, social and community betterment. Momentum Aroostook strives to provide opportunities for networking, learning and fun with those who choose to live in Aroostook County but still want to enjoy some of the social and professional perks of bigger-city living.
Dress for the event is smart casual. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and can be purchased from Momentum Aroostook Board members or at the Barresi Financial office on Main Street. Space is limited, so get your tickets now!
