Barnum, Pearl M., 77, Caribou, December 12, 2008. Spring interment will take place in the Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

Image    CARIBOU – Pearl M. Barnum, 77, went to be with the Lord, December 12, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born at Woodland, September 23, 1931, the daughter of Stanley Barnum Sr. and Louise (Nadeau) Barnum. Pearl attended Woodland and Caribou schools and attended the New Brunswick Bible Institute. She was an active life long member of the Caribou United Baptist Church. She was employed by Birds Eye and American Kitchen Foods for many years.
    Pearl is survived by three sisters, Marion Flanagin and her husband Sidney of Casco, Elizabeth “Betty” Short and her husband Carroll of Sumter, SC and Gloria Finnemore and her husband Fredrick of Woodland; one brother Stanley Barnum Jr. and his wife Carol of Woodland; many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Ruby Kost in 2002.
    Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with the Rev. John Kiehn, pastor, officiating. Spring interment will take place in the Woodland Cemetery. For online registery go to www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
