LIMESTONE — On Feb. 27, the Limestone Community School will be hosting a benefit for one of their seniors suffering from Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), a rare blood disease.  Despite battling illness, the student attends school at every possible opportunity in order to graduate and further their education at college.
The teachers at LCS have donated money to provide the food for the evening, and McCain’s has shown their support by donating some of the food for the event.
Tickets for the supper are $8 for adults and $4 for children and are available at the door; the event runs from 6 to 8:00 p.m.
