HOULTON—Educators and students at all levels seeking courses toward teacher certification or recertification can choose from 34 courses offered at University College at Houlton this summer. Courses are taught by University of Maine faculty at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Most of the courses are delivered online. Students without high-speed internet access can participate in the courses at University College’s well-equipped computer lab. Staff at the center offer support to all students who are new to online learning.
“We are pleased to be able to offer so many education courses at our center each semester,” said Chuck Ames, Director of University College at Houlton. “These courses are simply convenient; they provide access to the same experienced faculty available to students on campus.”
