ON JUNE 6, C-A-N-C-E-R (Caring Area Neighbors for Cancer Education and Recovery) had their annual golf tournament at the Presque Isle Country Club.
Helping to celebrate our 10th anniversary were 27 four-person teams from Presque Isle, Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Mars Hill, Ashland and Portage. Topping the day’s events was a hole in one by Ben Deschene on Hole 16. All proceeds from this fundraiser stay here in the county helping cancer patients in treatment and their families.
