Ryan, Clement A., 80, July 20, 2009.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the St. Agnes Cemetery.
    ISLAND FALLS – Clement Alton "Tim" Ryan, 80, passed away July 20, 2009, with his family at his side, at Houlton Regional Hospital. He was born April 12, 1929, at Island Falls, the son of Charles and Esther (Springer) Ryan.
    Tim retired after 42 years with the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He was a member of UTU and St. Agnes Catholic Church. Tim was a great storyteller and always liked a great joke. His smile will be missed.
    He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louella; daughter, Judy and her husband, Robert; his sons, Timothy and his wife, Pamela, and Anthony; grandsons, Jonathan and Jessica, Joseph and Misty, Jeremy and Crystal, Jason and Kristin, T.J. and Liza, Adam and Melissa, Devin and Danielle, Patrick, and Jeremy, and Monica; great-grandchildren, Payton, Nolan, Makaelyn, Camden, Riley, Owen, Austin, Kolbey, Keegan and Laney; his sisters, Alice, and Patricia and husband, Clyde; his brother, Richard and wife, Bunny; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Edward, James and Michael; also his special uncle, Alton. The family thanks the staff at Houlton Regional Hospital Progressive Care, Dr. Older, Dr. Abouleish, Dr. Dixon and Ted Pettengill.
    A Mass of Christian burial was held 2 p.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with Father David Raymond, celebrant. Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery.
