    Hodgdon 1, Limestone 0 — On what was to be an intended cross found its way to the inside far post, giving Hodgdon’s Chris Harris an unassisted goal. The lone tally scored just four minutes into the game gave the Hawks their first win of the season.
    Goalie Erik Ryan preserved the shutout by rejecting 13 of 17 shots faced for the 1-6 Hawks.
For Limestone, 2-6-1, goalie Zach Moreau had 12 saves on 19 shots.

    So. Aroostook 7, Washburn 3 — Southern Aroostook senior Dakota Sleeper set the pace for his team’s victory last Friday, scoring three goals and picking up an assist. Adding single tallies for the Warriors were Gary Sutherland, Nick Tarr, Cody Robinson and Jake Lassonde. Lassonde chipped in with two assists and Patrick Goodall added one for Southern Aroostook. Goalie Jessie Boulier faced five shots and made two saves.
The Warriors are 5-1 on the season.
Netkeeper Justin Howe had 20 saves on 34 shots.

 Schenck 3, Katahdin 1 – At East Millinocket, the Wolverines received goals from three separate players, Sean Borrello, Jared Lyons and Aaron Vienneau, while the Cougars’ goal came from Kolby Gallagher. Borrello had an assist, while Aaron Ewing added two for the winners.
The Wolverines had the upper hand in shot attempts, 20-8. Katahdin keeper Jesse McNally stopped 13 shots, while Schenck’s goalie Ryan Thompson set aside six.

   Houlton 4, Lee Academy 0 – Micah Goetsch tallied a goal in each half (one unassisted, the other set up by Jordan Codrey) of last Tuesday night’s game in Houlton to lift the Shires to their first win (1-0-2) of the season.
Adding the next two goals were Malik Abouleish and Garry Fowler, with Dylan Gard picking up an assist for Houlton.
Houlton outshot their opponents 29-6. Jared Tapley of the Shires made two saves and A.J. Harris ended up saving 11 shots for the 0-2 Pandas.

    Easton 11, East Grand 1 – At Easton, the Vikings were routed in their second game of the year. East Grand’s Abe Brittain was peppered with 47 shots on net. He rejected 31. On the other side, Easton’s goalie Cody Tompkins had an easy time stopping four of six shots.
Corey White led the offensive barrage with six goals, while Holden Turner (two assists) added four and Zach Clark one.
The Vikings’ lone goal was from Jordan Crone.

    Wisdom 2, Hodgdon 1 — Despite a heavy onslaught of shots, Hodgdon goalie Erik Ryan kept his team in the game, making 34 saves on a whopping 44 shots on goal.
Host Wisdom scored two unassisted goals, one in the first half and Curtis Picard’s game-winner in the second half for the 5-3 Pioneers. Goalie Ryan Blanchette made six saves on 10 shots.
Aaron McGary had an unassisted tally for the 1-4 Hawks.

    Houlton 1, Hodgdon 0 — The Hawks gave the Shiretowners all they wanted last Thursday night under the lights at Houlton.
Cody Briggs scored the game-winner for Houlton in the first half, with Micah Goetsch picking up the assist. The Shires are 2-0-2 on the season. Goalie Jared Tapley stopped all four shots on net.
For Hodgdon, Dan McGillicuddy set aside 15 of 31 shot attempts for the 0-4 Hawks.

Girls wrap up

    Limestone 2, Hodgdon 1 — With less than 10 minutes left in a tied game, the Limestone Eagles’ Rylee Leighton scored an unassisted goal to lift her team to the win last Monday in Hodgdon.
Lacey McQuarrie scored a first-half goal for 1-7 Hodgdon, while Kim Levesque and Emmaly Jurson combined in goal to stop 14 of 22 shots faced.
For Limestone, 5-3-1, goalie Audra Kirk had six saves on 21 shots.

    Schenck 1, Katahdin 0 — It might have appeared that last Monday’s game in East Millinocket was heading to overtime. But, a Kaprice Tompkins’ goal with 4:57 left was enough for Schenck to take the win.
The Wolverines outshot Katahdin, 31-9. Schenck goalie Leann Toothaker had six saves, while Katahdin netkeeper Makayla Patterson had 27 saves. The Lady Cougars are 0-3.

    Woodland 9, East Grand 1 – At Danforth Friday, the Dragons used three first-half goals to overtake East Grand.
Molly White had two goals in the first half for the 3-1 Dragons. Anne Reffdal had a goal and an assist while Kacie Burke, Kelsey Burtt and Mikayla Hamilton scored. Goalie Ashley Laking saved seven of eight shots.
Shaunna Beaudoin scored in the first off an assist from Kaitlyn Beaudoin for 0-3 Lady Vikings, while goalie Kim Armstrong set aside 20 of 30 shots.

 So. Aroostook 3, Washburn 0 — At Dyer Brook, Rochelle Nadeau scored twice and Liz Goodall added a goal, as Southern Aroostook remains unbeaten. Evangeline Goodall had an assist for the 6-0 Warriors. Combining in net, Mallary Lawlor and Emily Cummings turned aside all three Washburn shots on goal.
Rayah Saucier stopped 6 of 21 shots for 1-6-3 Beavers.

    Houlton 4, Lee Academy 2 — Lee’s Katelynn Mallett had scored two first-half goals to put the Pandas in the lead, but Houlton mounted a comeback behind sophomore Abby Kinens, who scored three second-half goals last Tuesday in Houlton.
Mikaelah Tracy scored, while Amanda Fogarty added two assists for the 2-1 Lady Shires. Madison Lezotte had one save on three shots, while Felicia Thornton stopped 21 of 30 shots for Lee.

    Easton 10, East Grand 1 – Shawna Beaudoin scored for East Grand, now 0-2.
The Lady Vikings were outshot 80-7. Easton’s Taylor Burtt had two saves, while
Cassie Parent stopped 35 for East Grand.

   Hodgdon 2, Wisdom 0 — The Lady Hawks picked up their first win of the year in five outings as they defeated host Wisdom last Tuesday.
Chelsea Sloat and Kenzie Palmer each scored goals and Kimberly Levesque added an assist. Goalie Emmaly Jurson stopped seven of 16 shots in goal.
For Wisdom, Suzie Collins had 12 saves on 16 shots for the 0-7 Pioneers.

    SACS 6, Woodland 1 — Evangeline Goodall stepped up in the lead role in last Wednesday’s win over host Woodland, scoring three goals, two on penalty kicks, while sister Liz added two more goals and Rochelle Nadeau a single tally.
Emily Cummings made 11 saves on 12 shots for Southern Aroostook, while Woodland’s Kelsey Warden had 17 stops on 21 shots.

    Houlton 4, Hodgdon 0 — Amanda Fogarty scored in each half of last Thursday’s game in Houlton against Hodgdon. Vanessa Sanderson tallied a goal and two assists, while Abby Kinens knocked in a goal and an assist for the 3-1 Lady Shires. Goalie Madison Lezotte made four saves on five shots faced.
Goalie Emmaly Jurson combined with Kim Levesque to make 17 saves on 31 shots for the 1-5 Lady Hawks.
