Madeline Gudde, a member of the grade-five “Explorers” team, was named Student of the Month for November by her teachers Mrs. Deede Duncan and Mrs. Jola Hebert.
The CMS teachers stated, “Madeline is an active member of the fifth-grade band and chorus, as well as a member of the gifted and talented program here at CMS. Her hard work and dedication to exemplary work serve as an excellent example for her peers. Madeline attained high honors for the first quarter. She is a good friend and is happy to help her classmates at any time.”
Brandon Tweed, a grade-five students on the “Brianiacs” team who was named Student of the Month for November by team teachers Mrs. Cindy Levasseur and Mrs. Nella Ouellette.
His teachers said, “Brandon is very conscientious and works diligently to attain his goals. He is an honor roll student and always seeks ways to improve. He plays the clarinet, guitar and is a participant in the CMS Band and also enjoys playing soccer. Brandon is a kind person who enjoys being around others.”
Molly Adams is a grade-six student in the “Six-ceeder” team was chosen to be Student of the Month for November by her teachers, Mrs. Cathy Bouchard, Mrs. Ruth Dionne and Mr. John Pelletier.
The grade-six CMS teachers stated, “Molly is a model student and a true leader among her peers. She is extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful to both teachers and students and she was elected by her classmates as their student organization representative. She is a member of the Maine Dance Academy, studying both dance and ballet, and is a participant of the Caribou Middle School track team. Molly’s willingness to help others along with her cheery personality make her a joy to have in class.”
Riley McDuffie, a member of the sixth-grade “Super-Sixers” team was selected as Student of the Month for November by teachers Ms. Sarah LaJoie and Mrs. Jen Quinlan.
The grade-six teachers stated, “Riley is a great addition to his team, always coming to class with his work completed and contributes regularly to class discussions. He consistently puts forth the effort to do well academically and to improve his work. Riley has also earned the respect of his peers, as is evident by his recent election to serve as student organization representative for his homeroom.”
Nathan Wall, was chosen as Student of the Month for November by his seventh-grade teachers Mrs. Kim Barnes, Mrs. Mary Curtis, Mr. Steve Perreault, Mrs. Holly Rhinebolt and Ms. Shelly Richardson.
The middle school teachers said, “Nathan is an outstanding student and takes great pride in his work. He is extremely active in the Middle School, taking part in cross-country, basketball, student organization and the gifted and talented program He is also a member of the Developmental Assets team and shows great leadership skills. Nathan is a leader in and out of the classroom and can often be seen helping other students in the class. He strives to do his very best.”
Abbi Theriault, a seventh-grade student was named Student of the Month for November by her teachers Mrs. Kim Barnes, Mrs. Mary Curtis, Mr. Steve Perreault, Mrs. Holly Rhinebolt and Ms. Shelly Richardson.
The CMS team teachers stated, “Abbi is a kind-hearted person who displays a great attitude throughout her school day and during her participation in extra-curricular school activities. She is a pleasure to have in all of her classes and treats her peers and teachers with great respect. Abbi has also exhibited those qualities to the girls soccer team this fall and currently to her teammates on the seventh-grade basketball team. She has truly been a wonderful addition to the seventh grade, coming to us from Connor. Abbi is a hard worker and always has a smile on her face.
Alyssa St. Peter, an eighth-grade student was chosen Student of the Month for November by teachers Mr. Troy Barnes, Mrs. Ralph Fantasia, Mrs. Jennifer Rand, Mrs. Jessica Dow and Mrs. Shannon Sleeper.
The five CMS teachers said, “Alyssa was chosen because of her willingness to help others and her ability to set an example for all who attend CMS. Alyssa takes flute lessons, is a member of the Caribou Middle School Band and dances at the Maine Dance Academy attending dance camp this summer. She also babysits and works at Deb’s Daycare. Always willing to help a fellow classmate or teacher, often without being asked, Alyssa is a wonderful role model to all students and sets a great example regarding schoolwork and the treatment of fellow classmates, schoolmates, teachers and adults.”
Emmanuel Bouchard was selected as Student of the Month for November by his eighth-grade teachers Mr. Troy Barnes, Mr. Ralph Fantasia, Mrs. Jennifer Rand, Mrs. Jessica Dow and Mrs. Shannon Sleeper.
The grade-eight CMS teachers stated, “Emmanuel is a very conscientious student who is involved in numerous activities at CMS. He is a homeroom representative and a member of the Developmental Assets team. Emmanuel readily volunteers to participate in any give take and his willingness to help others is inspiring to both students and staff.”
