CARIBOU — Local artisans will be celebrated each month at the new Brambleberry Market in downtown Caribou; for the month of February, the store will be featuring the work of John Violette of Caribou.

“His wood carved items will be on display and for sale for the whole month,” said shop owner Debbie Southerland. “John is an excellent wood carver and has only been carving for two years.”

Other local artisans contribute to the collection of country, primitive and inspirational gifts offered at the store, including a variety of wooden cabinets and shelves.

Brambleberry Market is also offering samplings of their Wind & Willow chocolate amaretto and caramel butter rum cheesecakes on Saturday, Feb. 5 to the public.

A new feature of the store includes Wish List and Bridal Gift Registry options; additional information about the store can be obtained by calling 498-8000.
