Gardiner Health Care Facility staff recognized for service

    HOULTON — Gardiner Health Care held a week long celebration for its staff. Gardiner staff, family and residents all took part by providing gifts to all workers including a car wash, pizza party, raffles, silent auctions and special meals.
    Gardiner Health Care also organized a “Lunch and Learn” at Houlton Regional Hospital with an educational program on Dementia and Memory loss presented by Dr. Devarajan Manu, MD.

    As part of the week long celebration, Gardiner Health Care Facility had an open house for the community to have tours of the newly renovated facility. Finished modifications include new furniture, fresh paint, new flooring, and common living areas with furniture and entertainment.
    The renovations have allowed Gardiner to provide more private rooms for individuals to receive treatment and the opportunity to recuperate in a calm environment.
