BU-CLR-RotaryExchange-dcx-pt-32The Houlton Rotary Club exchanged club flags with Italian exchange student Alessandra DiMauro of Giarre, Italy at its July 25 meeting. She is an exchange student with Ally Carmichael of Houlton, daughter of Kevin and Mari Carmichael. She is spending three weeks with the Carmichael family, visiting the coast of Maine, Boston and Northern Maine.  Carmichael lived with DiMauro and her family while experiencing her exchange in southern Italy for three weeks in late June/early July. The Rotary International exchange program is designed to foster goodwill, an educational and cultural experience for students from around the world. Taking part in the exchange are, from left, Rotary Vice President Ryan Bushey, DiMauro, Carmichael, and Youth Exchange Officer Dana Delano.
