COFFIN, John Henry, 68, MARS HILL, January 20, 2012. John’s Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 25, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mars Hill. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, Presque Isle.
MARS HILL – John Coffin was Baptized on December 21, 2011, and entered into Eternal Rest Friday, January 20, 2012, after a battle with diabetes. He is now with his Lord and Savior.
John Henry Coffin, 68, of Mars Hill, was born on October 13, 1943, and passed away peacefully on the morning of January 20, 2012.John is a United States Navy Veteran, serving from 1961 to 1964. John also had a career as a truck driver for over 40 years before retiring, and was a proud member of North Country Cruisers.
John is survived by his wife of 35 years, Madeline Coffin; his brother, Ronald Coffin; daughters, Robin Randall and husband, Tim, Julie Tweedie and husband, Joe, Lieutenant Virginia Gowin, and Major Tracy Coffin; his sons, David Littlefield and wife, Michele, Robert Littlefield, Christopher Coffin and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Bradley Dow, Olivia Randall, Matthew Tweedie, Specialist Thomas Tweedie, Andrew Tweedie, U.S. Navy Mineman Nathan Sanders, Jonathan Lewis, Macey Coffin, Maddison Coffin, and John Patrick Coffin; two great-grandchildren, Dillyn and Piper; a special little princess, Cassidy Carlisle; his best friend, Wayne Pendexter; and numerous other friends.
John’s Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on January 25, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mars Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presque Isle Dialysis Center.
