KeyBank benefit tourney set

    The eighth annual KeyBank Charity Golf Event is set for Saturday, Aug. 16 at Presque Isle Country Club.
Proceeds will benefit several area charitable organizations and projects, including animal shelters, school projects, Project Graduation, Presque Isle Youth Hockey, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Aroostook House of Comfort, Junior Achievement, the United Way of Aroostook, Aroostook Aspirations Initiative and the Special Olympics Snowdogs basketball program and Women, Work and Community.
Prizes include cash for the winning teams in both the men’s and women’s divisions for both gross and net scores. Prizes will also be offered for closest to the pin, longest drive and a putting contest. A new car will be a hole-in-one prize.
A barbecue lunch for all participants is being provided.
The shotgun start is at 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m. There is no minimum handicap for the three-person teams. The fee is $120 per team.
