Industrial arts instructor Don Hanson’s students in the Woodworking Club at Washburn District High School tackled a project this past winter that proved to be quite creative.
A grant to create a children’s room at the Washburn Memorial Library provided funding to have the group build a LEGO table. They researched possible layouts and then decided to finish the table in LEGO colors. With the table are, from left, Parker Corey and Kyle Thurston, students, and Hanson.
