Fort Kent Criminal Docket, April 2021

FORT KENT, Maine — The following cases were heard under the Aroostook Criminal Docket at the Fort Kent Courthouse in April.

Diana Copellev, 56, Frenchville: unlawfully furnishing scheduled drug, 3 years in prison, all but 30 days suspended, 2 years probation, $760 restitution. 

Kurt R. Chasse, 34, Van Buren: operating after habitual offender revocation, dismissed. 

Corey N. Herbert, 42, Fort Kent Mills: violating condition of release, 7 days in jail.

Sarah M. Lavoie, 35, Frenchville: operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.

Joey Cormier, 36, Van Buren: violating protection order, priors, 2 years in prison, all but 60 days suspended, 2 years probation. 

Jessie Jackson, 38, St. Francis: driving to endanger, 7 days administrative release sentence, license suspended for 30 days, $1,000 fine.

Jason D. Marquis, 36, Frenchville: operating under the influence (alcohol), no test, dismissed; driving to endanger, license suspended for 30 days, $575 fine.

Shane L. Kurtyka, 42, Van Buren: domestic violence terrorizing, priors domestic violence, 24 months in jail, all but 90 days suspended, 2 years probation; obstructing the report of a crime, 90 days in prison.

Gavin R. Martin, 18, Sinclair: operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.

Michelle L. Ridley, 36, New Canada: domestic violence assault, 120 days in jail, all suspended, 120 days administrative release sentence.   

Cassandra M. Main, 19, Rochester, New Hampshire: operating vehicle without license, dismissed.

Brent M. Thibeault, 27, Frenchville: failing to stop, remain, provide information, filed on unspecified costs.

Kyle Blair, 18, Eagle Lake: motor vehicle speeding 30-plus mph over speed limit, filed on unspecified costs. 

Clinton B. Cullinan, 60, Caribou: unlawful sexual conduct, dismissed.

Logan Theriault, 22, Fort Kent: motor vehicle speeding 30-plus mph over speed limit, dismissed. 

Kylie A. Levesque, 18, Van Buren: passing stopped school bus, dismissed. 

Shane L. Kurtyka, 42, Van Buren: violating condition of release, dismissed; failing to provide correct name, address, and date of birth, 30 days in jail; criminal mischief, 30 days in jail; violating condition of release, 3 days in jail.

Jeremy Tompkins, 44, Caribou: failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, dismissed; failing to make oral or written accident report, dismissed.

Colin T. Jackson, 78, St. Francis: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, filed on unspecified costs.   

Gilman F. Roy Jr., 38, Van Buren: failing to make oral or written accident report, dismissed; violating condition of release, dismissed. 

Jonathan L. Freeman, 25, St. Francis: failing to register vehicle, dismissed. 

Joseph J. Landry, 64, St. Agatha: theft by unauthorized use of property (two counts), dismissed (first), 21 days in jail (second); violating condition of release, 21 days in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.

Kenneth D. Jandreau, 34, St. David: fishing without a valid license, dismissed.

Joel E. Strout, 62, Harrington: shooting from motor vehicle, $300 fine, $150 suspended.

Randy M. Pinkham, 50, Steuben: shooting from motor vehicle, $300 fine, $150 suspended. 

Bradley C. Audibert, 31, Fort Kent: use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

Kenneth Jimmo, 49, St. Francis: habitually truant student, dismissed. 

Jason Faggiole, 38, Fort Kent: use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

Kevin P. Smith, 37, Caribou: unattended lines, $200 fine.
