PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Northern Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires will begin a rules clinic/class on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the Presque Isle Recreation Department beginning at 5:30 pm.
Anyone interested in becoming certified to work middle school, junior varsity, and high school baseball games should attend the clinics.
The class will meet each week for five weeks with the final exam scheduled for Tuesday, March 8.
The cost of the class is $35.00 and includes the Rule and Case Book. Individuals who pass the course will begin working games this spring.
