EASTON, Maine — Emma Lamoreau, a senior at Easton Junior/Senior High School, has been selected to receive the 2022 Principal’s Award, Principal Laura Hunter announced.

The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

“Emma is a top-notch student at Easton Junior/Senior High School. She is every teacher’s dream student as she is inquisitive, driven, kind and outgoing,” Hunter said in making the award.

“Emma is a well rounded individual who is involved in both her school and her community. She is a natural born leader and I look forward to hearing of her future successes,” Hunter noted. “I’m so proud of Emma and am honored to have the opportunity to recognize her.”

Lamoreau and Hunter, along with other Principal’s Award recipients and their principals, will attend a virtual awards ceremony on Friday, April 1. During the awards ceremony Lamoreau will be entered in the drawing for a chance to win one of ten $1,000 scholarships.
