Flower purchases will help Caribou library

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Public Library has been selected by local Hannaford store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the company’s Bloomin’ 4 Good Program for the month of  May.

The Bloomin’ 4 Good Program is an easy way for shoppers to give back as part of the regular shopping routine. Every Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet of fresh flowers with the red circle sticker sold supports a non-profit in the community of the store in which it was purchased.

Every month at every Hannaford location, a different local nonprofit is selected to benefit from the sale of the bouquets. Caribou Public Library was selected as the May beneficiary by leadership at the Caribou store. The library will receive a $1 donation for every bouquet  with the red circle sticker purchased at the store in May.

“Flowers can make someone’s day, brighten up a room or spread a smile,” said Peter Baldwin, director of the Caribou Public Library. “Now they can give back, too. We are thrilled to be chosen to benefit from this unique and impactful Hannaford Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, as the demands of those in need are higher than ever this year.”

Founded in 1911, the Caribou Public Library is a nonprofit that works to provide resources to aid in community education and support for the entire community. Learn more by visiting cariboupubliclibrary.org.
