The Aroostook Hospice Foundation is excited to announce its 12th annual Golf Classic, taking place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Presque Isle Country Club.
This signature event continues to be a vital fundraiser for the Aroostook House of Comfort, having raised more than $520,000 to support a family-centered hospice house to patients whose needs are greater than home hospice can provide.
The Aroostook Hospice Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to this year’s platinum sponsor, the Logan P. Graves Foundation, whose generous $10,000 contribution underscores their commitment to hospice care in this region. Their dedication to the mission helps ensure that patients and their loved ones receive the care, comfort and dignity they deserve right here in rural Aroostook County.
“The Aroostook House of Comfort provides critical hospice services that allow individuals and families to navigate this stage of life with support and compassion. We encourage everyone to participate in this meaningful event, whether through sponsorship or team registration,” said Robert Graves of the Logan P. Graves Foundation.
Since opening in 2018, the Aroostook House of Comfort has provided compassionate, inpatient hospice care to more than 1,000 patients, in collaboration with Northern Light Home Care & Hospice. Funds raised through the Golf Classic help cover operational expenses and charity care funding, ensuring hospice care remains accessible to all in need.
The 2025 Golf Classic promises an exciting day on the course with nearly $25,000 in prizes and giveaways. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals looking to make a meaningful impact.
