HODGDON, Maine — Hodgdon Middle/High School has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2025.

Anna Oliver, daughter of Matthew and Lee-Rae Oliver of Hodgdon, is this year’s valedictorian for Hodgdon Middle/High School.

Valedictorian Anna Oliver

Throughout high school, Anna immersed herself in both academics and athletics. Over the course of four years, Anna has amassed 68 college credits, credits intentionally chosen to not just help with her high school diploma but to add to her chosen major in college. She also played high-level basketball and dedicated countless hours to training and competition — she was rewarded in her junior year for her efforts by becoming a 1,000-point scorer. Beyond sports, Anna actively served her community by helping cultivate Hodgdon’s youth athletic programs, tutoring elementary school children and supporting local businesses by extending a helping hand. Anna credits her accomplishments to her loving family, incredible community, and “most importantly to the strength and resilience God so graciously instilled in me”.

After high school, Anna plans to attend the University of Maine at Presque Isle to complete her bachelor’s degree in biology before pursuing medical school. Her goal is twofold, to become a doctor, focusing on a functional medicine approach and to continue growing her faith through servanthood to as many people as possible by inspiring love and kindness.

Molly Suitter, the daughter of Corey and Stacy Suitter of Hodgdon, was named salutatorian of the Hodgdon Class of 2025. She has been an active member of her school, community and church. Molly was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore, where she has contributed to many service projects and served as treasurer during her senior year. She has provided leadership and support in her roles as student council member, class treasurer, varsity team captain and Dirigo State delegate. Molly has taken full advantage of the Husson ECAP and Maine Aspirations programs and accumulated 62 college credits during her high school career.
