PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Central Aroostook Association invites the community to attend its open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at three CAA locations in Presque Isle: OTC at 25 Lombard St., children’s  services at 29 Lombard St. and OTC Next Steps at 180 Houlton Road.

The free event offers community members an opportunity to see firsthand the programs and services offered at OTC, OTC Next Steps and children’s services. Guests can tour the locations, participate in free hands-on activities and meet CAA’s children’s case manager to learn more about available supports and  services.

Throughout the evening guests can enjoy a free baked potato bar, popcorn and cotton candy.

As part of the Open House CAA will hold four special dedications, honoring individuals whose commitment and service made a lasting impact on the  organization and the people it serves. The gazebo at OTC will be dedicated in memory of Judy Robertson, the OTC gymnasium in memory of Jim Dyer Jr., the  OTC Next Steps library in memory of Victor Winslow and the OTC Next Steps auditorium in memory of Galen Rockwell.

CAA welcomes families, friends, community members and anyone interested in learning more about the organization to stop by anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. Those interested in employment opportunities with CAA are also encouraged to bring a résumé, as on the spot interviews will be available during the event.

Come see what CAA is all about, celebrate the people who helped shape its history and enjoy a free evening of food, activities and community. Any questions please contact Jamie Guerrette at 207-554-4776.
