Fall craft fair returning to Mapleton

The Mapleton Daze Committee will host their annual Fall Craft and Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Mapleton Elementary School.

Ark Animal Sanctuary – Week of September 24, 2025

Recently we were asked to help with a sick cat that was found in a field. The cat was emaciated, missing patches of fur, had a bad case of fleas, an upper respiratory infection and an injured eye.

Mapleton Elementary starts the year

Kids and their parents streamed onto the Mapleton Elementary School playground Sept. 2 with big smiles and zip in their steps. It was the first day of the new 2025-2026 school year and the students, teachers and parents were eager to see each other.
