It is a great honor to serve Mars Hill as your new postmaster. In my years with the United States Postal Service, I have seen firsthand the role the Postal Service plays connecting neighbors and our community to the nation.
Do you sometimes feel like a knight on a hopeless quest in search of ancestors? I always try to be optimistic but there can be barriers almost impossible to scale. Let’s take a look at some of the most difficult challenges you may face.

In my years with the United States Postal Service, I have seen firsthand the role the Postal Service plays connecting neighbors and our community to the nation. Our post offices serve as lifelines for our small businesses to reach customers no matter where they are.
I am fascinated with old structures such as houses, barns, and potato houses that stand weathered and perhaps beaten by time and vacancy.

In light of the recent announcement from Senator Collins of the congressionally directed spending request of $2.5 million to renovate and expand a facility for the Caribou Police Department, I would like to offer an alternate idea to the taxpayers of Caribou.
May was a merry month. Out of a final April snowstorm new joys and beauty began to emerge.
Presque Isle has two large cemeteries located right on Main Street or U.S. Route 1: the Johnson Cemetery just north of town in what was originally the town of Maysville; and Fairmount Cemetery just south of town.
As you take the I-95 off-ramp at exit 302, a large sign greets you: “Houlton: Worth a Visit, Worth a Lifetime”.

I wrote to Maine Sen. Trey Stewart, R-Presque Isle, and Maine Rep. Joseph Underwood, R-Presque Isle, on April 25, asking whether they planned any public meetings to discuss what they have done in their current positions, and what they hope to accomplish should they be reelected.
