Samantha Murchison, 14, of Caribou recently cut her hair and donated it to the Locks of Love organization, which provides hairpieces for children who have lost their hair due to illness.
She has been growing her hair since she was in pre-school. At left is a picture of Samantha before the cut and at right are the results of lopping off 12 inches. The haircut took place at The Hair Affair in Caribou and was cut by Debbie Cyr. Samantha is the daughter of Ken and Jan Murchison of Caribou.
