To the editor:
I would like to write and acknowledge my neighbor, Lionel. He deserves major kudos!
My husband was shipped off to Iraq this fall. Lionel came over one Saturday to assist me with car problems and I asked how much he charged to plow, and his reply was ‘I’ll do it for free for you’. He has been so faithful, every morning after the storm I knew I was going to be plowed out and if it snowed during the day, I knew by the time I got home from work I would be plowed out. He has been a huge blessing; especially with the amount of snow we had this winter and the price of fuel.
Lionel, I want to thank you for the sacrifice you made to help me this winter and also for supporting our troops. Your actions have helped me realize that there are still good people around and also that they support our troops by helping out where it is needed at home. Thanks again Lionel and may God richly bless your family.
